“Keema” is a mince spiced and cooked on its own or mixed with peas, or potatoes. Traditionally it’s made with lamb mince however I thought what would it be like with turkey mince. It works really well, give it a go!!
Heat oil when hot add cumin and coriander seeds and fry for 1 Min then add onions and fry 5 Min till brown.
Add garlic and after 1 Min add powders and fry for 30 secs
Before adding tomato concentrate.
If it’s sticking add a little water.
Once mixed through add turkey mince and fry in the massala for around 3 to 4 Min
Add large cup of water and leave to cook
Once the water has reduced and your Keema is thick season to taste squeeze in some fresh lime and add lots of coriander.
Prefect with naan bread or rice.
