Sichuan Pork

This is a great quick dish that takes minutes to prepare but packs a punch and tastes fantastic. Have it with rice noddles or rice and spring onions.

 

First trim tenerlion from fat and sinew and rub dry spice and crushed garlic mix all over.

After an hour or so slice very thinly and add 1/2 tsp of soy sauce and squeeze half a lime.

Hear a pan and once oil is hot add sliced pork and pan fry till seared about 6/7 min

Add tbsp honey and soy sauce mix to glaze the pork, remove from the heat.

Leave to rest for 5/6 min covered before serving.

Finish with spring onions and chili flakes and fresh lime. Enjoy with rice noodles or jasmine rice.

Ingredients:

Spice rub
Crushed Sichuan peppercorns
Coriander powder
Chili flakes
Lemongrass powder
Ginger powder

Pork tenerlion
Crushed garlic
Soy sauce
Honey
Fresh lime
Spring onion
